Albuquerque’s Old Town area had been a long forgotten spot for anyone to visit and hang out save for tourists looking for Southwest curios to take back home. Enter Outpost 1706, which now breathes fresh air and serves as a draw for locals looking for a more modern spot to meet friends and sip on beer, wine or cocktails. Though the lounge had opened and relied heavily on social media and online maps, it hadn’t launched a website to truly show off its space, share its rotating menus and events, sell merchandise and book private events.
